I Never Saw Another Butterfly
June 4 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
$10.00 – $45.00
A Collaboration with Nashirah: The Jewish Chorale of Philadelphia and Special Friends
ANNA Crusis Feminist Choir, Nashirah Jewish Chorale of Philadelphia, and
Zachor, the Keneseth Israel Youth Chorale, will present a moving and powerful performance of Charles Davidson’s “I Never Saw Another Butterfly.”
I Never Saw Another Butterfly is a song cycle that sets to music the poetry and art created by Jewish children imprisoned in the Terezin concentration camp during the Holocaust. Charles Davidson’s composition is a poignant and evocative tribute to the resilience and humanity of those who suffered in the Holocaust.
ANNA, Nashirah, and Zachor are proud to present this powerful work to celebrate the resilience of the human spirit in the face of unspeakable horrors. The performance will feature over 100 singers and talented instrumentalists who bring this moving work to life in a stirring and emotional performance.
We use a sliding scale for our ticket prices. Learn more about our sliding scale.

Any possibility of seeing this event online?
We tried really hard to make that happen but unfortunately it will not be live-streamed. Sorry.
I am disabled and homebound. I cannot attend the event in person. Will the event be recorded for us to watch later or to watch live-streamed?
The performance will not be livestreamed but we are working on a possible recording. No promises though. Reach out after the concert at info@annacrusis.org and we will have more information.
Are there separate seating areas for each price ticket or is open seating??
open seating – The goal of the sliding scale tickets is to make the performance accessible to the most people possible.
Will there be a livestream of June 4 concert?
Unfortunately, no. There was no way to do it in this venue. Believe me – we tried!
